HOLDEN – A lot of opponents in today’s Boston Marathon have been pounding the pavement for several years, but not Mary Beth Ryan. A relative newcomer to the sport, she will line up in Hopkinton for the very first time. Ryan, a 28-yr-previous Holden resident, did not run in high college or university.
