Rather than focusing on design and human models, “Petz: Dogz Fashion” lets animal lovers unlock new clothing items to put on their virtual pets. Players compete as a fictional pet owner who can find new costumes and clothing for his pet by shopping or competing in miniature games that pop up throughout “Petz: Dogz Fashion.” The miniature games challenge players to teach their dogs tricks and get them to obey.My Fashion StudioReleased only for the Nintendo DS system, “My Fashion Studio” came out courtesy of Ubisoft in June 2008. In “My Fashion Studio,” players must rise up the ranks of a famous designer’s studio by learning all of the tricks of the trade. After figuring out the game’s controls, players learn how to create clothing items and complete objectives throughout the game’s different missions. Players have control over which model from the design studio shows off the new clothing in competitions.Pop Cutie! Street Fashion SimulationKoei developed and released “Pop Cutie! Street Fashion Simulation” in September 2008 for the Nintendo DS. “Pop Cutie” players must help design clothing for a store by interacting with other characters to find out what types of clothing they find desirable. The designs that players create are tested in special battles and runway shows throughout the game. In these battles and shows, players compete for the affection of the masses against other fashion designers. Originally a Japanese game, “Pop Cutie” was converted for American players.
